YouTube Today - Forced Destruction of Hindu Temples
This is ONE of the main reason why the Hindus in Malaysia turned their back against the current government (BN) in the recent Malaysian election on 8th of March 2008 . The parliamentary election was won by BN, but yielded one of the worst results in the coalition's history. Opposition parties had won 82 seats (out of 222 seats in parliament) or 36.9% of parliamentary seats. This is one of the countless of temple destruction that is happening to Indian ethnic all over the country since independence 50 years ago .

Mayan Riviera is a tourism district following the highway 307 of Quintana Roo, Mexico. It historically started at Playa del Carmen and ended at Tulum, though the towns of Puerto Morelos to the north of Playa del Carmen and Felipe Carrillo Puerto inland are both currently being promoted as part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor. The Mayan Riviera was originally called the Cancun - Tulum corridor, but in 1999 it was renamed as the Mayan Riviera
It is famous for its all-inclusive resorts and smaller boutique hotels along the highway 307 and on or near the beaches. Luxury travel entities have been instrumental in increasing luxury villa rentals and yacht charters in the area.

YouTube Today - Christmas Island
British and Dutch navigators first included the island on their charts from the early seventeenth century, and Captain William Mynors of the British East India Company vessel, the Royal Mary, named the island when he arrived on Christmas Day, 25 December 1643.
It has a unique natural topography and is of immense interest to scientists and naturalists due to the number of species of endemic flora and fauna which have evolved in isolation and undisturbed by human habitation.
While there has been mining activity on the island for many years, 65% of its 135 square kilometres (52 sq mi) are now National Park and there are large areas of pristine and ancient rainforest. If you want to feel Christmas everyday , this place could be the answer ...eh

YouTube FEATURE of The Day
Marshall Islands, officially the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI), is a Micronesian island nation in the western Pacific Ocean, located not far off Nauru and Kiribati .
The country consists of twenty-nine atolls and five isolated islands. The most important atolls and islands form two groups: the Ratak Chain and the Ralik Chain (meaning "sunrise" and "sunset" chains). Two-thirds of the nation's population lives onMajuro (which is also the capital) and Ebeye. The outer islands are sparsely populated due to lack of employment opportunities and economic development. Life on the outer atolls is generally still fairly traditional, and the nutrition of the rural population, consuming food that is either grown or caught, is superior to that of most of the urban residents, who rely considerably on white rice. A majority of the islands' land mass is at sea level.
The climate is hot and humid, with a wet season from May to November. The islands occasionally suffer from typhoons. Many Pacific typhoons start in the Marshall Islands region and grow stronger as they move west toward the Mariana Islands and the Philippines.
The Marshallese are of Micronesian origin and migrated from Asia several thousand years ago. Although English is an official language and is spoken widely, though not fluently, Marshallese is used by the government.
Virtually all Marshallese are Christian, most of them Prostestant.
My feature today is about a place that I would want to be in future for holiday. I knew about this Island since I was a kid. Maybe because of the name. If you want to see more of Marshall Island, check it out using Google map and use the satellite map and you can zoom down as much as 50 m from the sky. What you 'll see is a stunning view of this beautiful paradise.
