A Singapore Airlines A380 made aviation history recently, completing the first commercial flight by the world's largest jetliner that boasts luxurious suites, double beds and the quietest interior of any plane.
With 455 passengers, the Airbus superjumbo lifted off safely from Singapore's Changi Airport and landed about seven hours later in Sydney. Also on board Flight SQ380 were a crew of about 30, including four pilots.
Flight attendants handed out champagne and certificates to passengers, some of whom paid tens of thousands of dollars in an online auction for the seats.I wished I was there eh.So what I have here is the Ist commercial takeoff of this magnificent piece of man made technology.Watch it .
